Introduction. There have been a number of flying saucer contact stories published in the last few years in which the individuals involved entered the space craft and even in certain cases, were privileged to ride in them for some distance. Notable instances of this and similar experiences are those of Daniel W. Fry (The White Sands Incident, To Men of Earth, Steps to the Stars, and Understanding) ; George Adamski (Flying Saucers Have Landed and Inside the Space Ships) ; George W. Van Tassel (I Rode A Flying Saucer and Into This World and Out Again) ; Truman Bethurum (Aboard a Flying Saucer and The Voice of the Planet Clarion), and Orfeo Angelucci (The Secret of the Saucers). In all of these cases there has been a great deal of controversy as to the authenticity of these gentlemen’s experiences. This is perfectly understandable in the light of the fact that in our present commercial society most people seem to have some sort of an « angle ». It is rare to find someone not giving thought to personal gain but selflessly attempting to give out information to his fellowman. From the more materially minded, criticism of anything « out-of-the-ordinary » is always readily forthcoming. There are really two kinds of critical attitudes. One type is that evidenced by those who are willing to be convinced if the proper evidence is presented ; the other by those who are unwilling to be convinced no matter what evidence is presented. It is rather obvious that this second type is a lost cause. There is little purpose in attempting to present evidence to convince those who are unwilling to be convinced. Therefore, this volume s addresed to those individuals who ar willing to maintain an open-minded attitude, attempting to ascertain the true nature of these events. There are really three reasons why the story related in this volume has been selected for publication. The first is to present a new and interesting contact story as an example of some of the amazing contacts which are quietly and without fanfare taking place in the world. The second is to offer confirmation to those individuals who have had experiences within the space craft. The third, and perhaps most important, reason is to point out the semantic difficulties encountered in studying the UFO contac stories. We all know the game where the first person in a long line of people whispers something into the ear of the second in line, who in turn whispers it to the third, and so on. At the end of the line the message comes out completely garbled and unrecognizable as the original message, even though each person attempted to relay it as he heard it. We all color the things which we repeat or relate with our own thoughts and preconceptions, some people, of course, more than others. There has been much talk in UFO circles regarding seeming contradictions in the contact stories. A favorite argument used by the skeptics is that if the contact claimants really had had these contacts, their stories would have been much more similar than they are. These belligerents may be answered from several viewpoints. First of all, they usually display a general ignorance of the details of contact stories. (Witness an article written by a non-believing lady in a well-known science-fiction magazine not long ago – 1957 – which is notorious among saucer researchers for its rather detailed inaccuracy and broad generalizations. This lady is by no means alone in her « sins ».) When the contactee’s name is misspelled and the wrong location is given as the site of his contacts, we begin to wonder how qualified the skeptic is to say anything on these subjects, much less write about it ! In one case, to top it all off, it was said that one contactee is working with a certain group of space people or other teachers when, in reality, it is a highly publicized fact that an entirely different contactee is working with this group and is in no way related to the person named by the skeptic ! ...
Zündel Ernst - UFOs Nazi secret weaponurn:md5:81bc77a30c540dd289ed3d26455f06ab2018-10-02T23:25:00+01:002018-10-02T22:36:35+01:00balderZündel ErnstCIAConspiracyIsraëlKennedyRussiaTavistock InstituteThird ReichUFOUnited States

Forword. Ever since the fall of Berlin and the unconditional surrender of the German armed forces in 1945 one continually reads of Adolf Hitler’s possible or definite escape from Berlin and Germany. Hitler has been reported to be living in several inaccessible spots in South America, in some well-guarded Shang-rila surrounded by S.S. Guards armed to the teeth. He is supposed to have spent some time in a monastery in Spain and other reports have him as a “prisoner” in Russia, itself. Millions of words have been written and spoken to this effect. Over 100,000 books have been written about Hitler and W.W. II in most major languages of the world. Most of them were more or less fictional accounts and re-hashes of the official propaganda lines and clichés of the military victors of W.W. II. None of these studies were deep or exhaustive enough to be considered conclusive. Many very important facets were not covered at all or were only touched upon the fringes. The book that is before you, is to the knowledge of the authors, their collaborators and to the publishers as well, the first attempt to cover some of these fringe issues in more depth. Consequently, they have drawn some very different conclusions to those already written on this vast and complex topic. In order to start on a sound footing, and ultimately to do it justice, Hitler, the man is examined. Hitler, the thinker, the statesman, the politician and above all, Hitler the founder of the National Socialist Ideology (Weltanschauung) is examined in greater detail and in a more dispassionate manner. To only write about the technical aspects and ratifications of the UFO mystery, of the UFO’s purely military potential, would, of necessity, lead to incorrect conclusions To separate the totality of Hitler’s control and influence over the production and eventual use of the UFO’s and over every other secret development of the II Reich would be stupid. Without Hitler’s backing or his knowledge of their potential uses, no weapons, not even the UFO’s would have been developed; they would have been condemned to the “planners’ morgue” or the junk piles. Hitler knew about the research work being done on UFO’s by his scientists, just as he knew about the other incredible secret weapons they were feverishly working upon in their bomb-proof laboratories. Many of these highly sophisticated weapon systems represented scientific breakthroughs of great importance. Many of these devices fell into Allied hands and they are pictured here for the first time and to the best of our knowledge. Others are re-created from engineering drawings or from testimony given to the Allied interrogators. There is a whole array of jet and rocket-powered aircraft, both fighters and bombers. There are T.V. guided missiles and torpedos. There are plane and submarine-based rockets. Also there are wind cannons and many other devices. ...
Plowman Martin - The UFO diariesurn:md5:f2273c1abb9266e7d0dc5cf4ace4a32d2017-08-15T23:55:00+01:002018-04-14T19:56:49+01:00balderPlowman MartinFranc-maçonnerieFranceUFO

Prologue. My life as a ufo logy-ologist. I never thought I’d grow up to be a grave robber. It may well be the world’s third oldest profession after politics and you-knowwhat, and I hear the pay is good as long as you don’t mind working with a bunch of stiffs, but grave robbing just doesn’t have the romantic appeal of, say, arms dealer, nor the dinner party cachet of Peace Corps volunteer. What did you do in Peru, Martin ? people would ask me back home, and I would have to say something like, ‘I trespassed upon the burial grounds of civilisations that were old before the country I was born in even existed.’ Unfortunately my camera would be stolen on a bus exactly two days later as I left the plateau of Marcahuasi to return to Lima, Peru’s smog-bound capital, so I don’t even have the photos to prove my guilt. Mercifully, the tomb was empty. All that remained were the dry-mortared stonewalls perhaps five feet in height, with a tiny square entrance on one side through which the shrunken, mummified corpse of the ancient lord would’ve been interred. I breathed a sigh of relief. There was nothing to disturb here; any remains once laid to rest in the tomb had been stolen or removed many years ago, and I was just a visitor en route to my own eventual destination. ...
Craig Roy - UFOs An insider's view of the official quest for evidenceurn:md5:b5665d1f95c71e094b8aacaf64df0f282017-08-04T21:07:00+01:002018-04-14T19:57:11+01:00balderCraig RoyAmericaGermanyGreeceJewLybiaRacialismReligionRevisionismSouth AfricaTexasUFO

Preface. The United States Air Force had a problem. Its top brass did not consider it a defense or a national security problem. It was a public relations problem. Since "flying saucers" became a part of American lore after Kenneth Arnold's reported sighting in 1947, the demands on the Air Force to check out and tell about reported UFOs had grown through the years. So had criticism of the Air Force's handling of the reports. By 1966, public indignation at Air Force "explanations" - focused then on the "swamp gas" explanation of a multitude of sightings in Washtenaw County, Michigan - became intense enough to create demands for Congressional investigations. The Air Force's public relations people found it necessary to seek assistance to get critics off the Air Force's back. On 30 December 1947, the Air Force had begun formal investigation of what were then called "flying discs" after a flurry of sighting reports followed Kenneth Arnold's experience. Its first program was code-named Project Sign. After a year of study, the staff of Project Sign prepared an "Estimate of the Situation" and sent it, supposedly classified "Top Secret" to Air Force Chief of Staff, General Hoyt S. Vandenberg, in July of 1948. ...
Vallée Jacques - Wonders in the skyurn:md5:f46885480e4e1ff23d11970f348f03bd2017-03-29T02:03:00+01:002017-05-18T09:56:37+01:00balderVallée JacquesAnglo-SaxonChristianityIsraëlProtestantUFO

Foreword by David J. Hufford, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus of Humanities and Psychiatry. Penn State College of Medicine. Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies. University of Pennsylvania. Author, The Terror That Comes in the Night. In 1969 I was a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of Folklore. My primary interest was in what was called "folk belief." This term was, and still is, generally reserved for beliefs that are at odds in some way with the official modern worldview. I was taught that such beliefs were both non-empirical and nonrational, that they were cultural fictions that reflected local concerns and functioned to support community values and psychological needs. The experiences on which they claimed to be based were, to use the term popularized by Thomas Kuhn's landmark work, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions (1962), "anomalies." ...
Vallée Jacques - UFOs The psychic solutionurn:md5:fe5941d8b9d65ea356064fe3172dbe8e2017-03-29T01:58:00+01:002017-03-29T01:02:11+01:00balderVallée JacquesChristChristianityProtestantUFO

Introduction. In the last twenty-five years, thousands of people have reported the persistent appearances of UFO phenomena. A careful examination of the patterns of these reports has already shown that they follow definite laws for which no explanation has been found. These statistical facts have been adequately documented elsewhere1 and will not concern us here. Instead we will examine a more exciting subject: the role of this phenomenon and its impact on each of us. The aim of this book is to offer a new point of view on UFOs. It has become important to pose the UFO 'problem' in a new fashion because our cultural beliefs regarding the existence of forms of consciousness elsewhere in the universe are undergoing major shifts. Perhaps these shifts have been precipitated by the realization that outer space has been opened to man and by the feeling of the smallness and the isolation of our planet brought back by astronauts. Perhaps they are flowing from the hope that .other civilizations may already have solved the economic and social problems that concern every country on earth today. The scope and impact of this cultural change have received some attention, but no attempt has yet been made to understand its basic mechanism. ...
Vallée Jacques - Revelationsurn:md5:49458decef9e50bd5430aa5b46d7bd732017-03-29T01:24:00+01:002017-05-18T09:56:40+01:00balderVallée JacquesCivilizationsGermanyUFO

Prologue. The men were dressed in fatigues. They signaled for us to stop the car. Bob turned off the engine. The wind carried a small cloud of dust past the windows of the Oldsmobile we had rented in Las Vegas. In the glare of the headlights we could see that two of them were wearing sidearms. The third one remained on the edge of the trail, closer to the guard post. He was carrying a machine gun. We lowered the windows, avoiding any suspicious or sudden moves. "Didn't you see the sign?" said one of the guards. ...
Vallée Jacques - Fastwalkerurn:md5:8a8821740a7dec5f03c2f4e393adc39f2017-03-29T01:12:00+01:002017-05-18T09:56:45+01:00balderVallée JacquesIsraëlUFO

Note to the reader. This book is based on Alintel, a French-language novel published by Mercure de France in Paris in 1986. In its present form it owes much to my friends Tracy Torme, who worked on a screenplay version from which I have borrowed large sections of the American dialogue. His creation of original characters and situations that helped the story come to life was an inspiration for our work. I am also grateful to Robert Weiss, who shaped its development, and to Mary Buckley, who edited the text. Many dedicated people who relentlessly pursue the UFO enigma and related topics have inspired and enriched this tale. Among those who contributed to the fictionalized accounts told in this book are witnesses of unexplained sightings who have communicated with me over the years, and the victims of abductions who conveyed the complexity of the phenomenon and its effect on their lives. Special thanks are due to my wife Janine, who is cheerfully encouraging my continuing efforts to make sense out of the whole mystery, and to a few friends who, over the years, have helped me reflect on it. Among them I am especially grateful to Fred Beckman for his support and to Richard Grossinger, Keith Harary, John White and "Cloud Rider" on Internet for some stimulating comments. This is a work of fiction inspired by real events, but primarily designed to entertain. As such, it does not necessarily reflect my own views as a scientist researching the UFO phenomenon. It includes a few specific mentions of well-known real figures like Professor Hynek or Major Donald Keyhoe, and of publicly identified organizations like the CIA and the People's Temple. Apart from such references, any resemblance between characters or groups mentioned in this book and real persons, dead or alive, or with military or civilian organizations is purely coincidental, and did not enter into the authors' intentions. As to the existence of Alintel, it can neither be confirmed nor denied. - Jacques Vallee. ...
Vallée Jacques - Confrontationsurn:md5:d929e6f667820c3df9f5d2c1834eb3f22017-03-29T01:05:00+01:002017-05-18T09:56:50+01:00balderVallée JacquesAfricaUFO

Introduction. We start with the incontrovertible fact that reports of Unidentified Flying Objects exist. Furthermore, such reports continue to be made daily, in all parts of the world, by all sorts of people, from all walks of life and of all degrees of education, training, and culture. The sheer number of such reports over the past quarter of a century or so is embarrassingly large-embarrassing because we still do not know what UFOs are. Some individuals believe they know. Many dismiss them all as nonsense, hoaxes, or the products of "overheated" imaginations. Others are sure that they represent visitors from outer space, or from another "dimension," or from other "timespace'' systems. ...
Vallée Jacques - Passport to Magoniaurn:md5:10166afac98d3daa161384450b513cad2017-01-17T16:16:00+00:002021-01-12T01:20:46+00:00balderVallée JacquesUFO

Chapter one. Visions of a parallel World. So Man, who here seems principal alone, Perhaps acts second to some sphere unknown. Touches some wheel, or verges to some goal, 'Tis but a part we see, and not a whole. Alexander Pope, Essay on Man. On june 15, 1952, in the jungles of Yucatan, an archaeological expedition led by Alberto Ruz Lhuillicr and three companions made a remarkable discovery. The team was investigating the impressive Palenque monuments, located in the state of Chiapas, on the site of a well-known Mayan city that scientists were busy restoring and mapping in systematic fashion. Yucatan is a region of constant humidity and high temperature, and the tropical vegetation had caused considerable damage to the temples and pyramids erected by the Mayas, whose civilization was marked by the genius of its architects and is thought to have declined in the first centuries of our era, disappearing almost completely about the ninth century—that is, at the time of the Charlemagne Empire in Europe. ...
Vallée Jacques - Dimensionsurn:md5:1dbb239e35d777cef8daff9a85d250832017-01-17T16:12:00+00:002017-01-17T16:15:28+00:00balderVallée JacquesConspiracyEnglandJewUFO

Foreword by Whitley Strieber. There are two things about the UFO controversy that make it uniquely interesting. The first is that it is probably the deepest mystery that mankind has ever encountered. The second is that it has been the object of so much denial despite the fact that it is certainly a real phenomenon. At the very least it is a social issue of the utmost importance, because it has all the potential of a truly powerful idea to enter unconscious mythology and there to generate beliefs so broad in their scope and deep in their impact that they emerge with religious implications for the surrounding culture. The only thing now needed to make the UFO myth a new religion of remarkable scope and force is a single undeniable sighting. Such a sighting need last only a few minutes – just long enough to be thoroughly documented. It will at once invest the extraterrestrials channels, the "space brothers" believers, and the UFO cultists with the appearance of revealed truth. This unfortunate state of affairs has come about for one reason, and one reason only. Our best intellects have methodically ignored the issue of UFOs for half a century, and have thus left the public without recourse in making sense of the incredibly subtle and complex experience of sighting them and interacting with their inhabitants. There are two reasons that the scientific community has been unable to address the issue sensibly. The first is that the phenomenon is so elusive that it cannot be easily measured. The UFO occupants – if there are any – cannot be studied or even engaged in dialogue, and their machines are only rarely seen by trained observers who are also willing to make their observations known to their colleagues. The second is, simply fear. Any explanation of the phenomenon that is now prosaic must inevitably lead to a profound challenge to cherished theories about the nature of mind and universe and man's place in the cosmos. If we come to a correct understanding of the UFO phenomenon, we may well in the process destroy the whole basis of our present beliefs about reality. Sensing this on an almost instinctive level, scientists hide behind the facile posturing of self-styled "debunkers" who can be counted on to distort or suppress unsettling data in order to leave our current ideas intact. The public is left – as I was left – facing the visitors in the middle of the night without any notion of what they are, where they came from, or how to act in their presence. Absent any genuine understanding of the phenomenon, one is forced to accept that it is what it appears to be. As Dr. Vallee points out in this masterful and ground-breaking analysis, that is exactly what we should not be doing. He places this modern UFO experience firmly in its historical context as the latest manifestation of a phenomenon that goes back at least as far as recorded history. Thus, at a stroke, he redefines it as a part of the fundamental mythology of human experience and enables us, for the first time, to begin to raise questions about it of sufficient depth and resonance to be meaningful. In the process he takes us on a grand journey through the annals of strange and anomalous human experience. He reveals an appalling truth: the phenomenon has been with us throughout history – and never, in all of that time, have we been able to deal sensibly with it. Whatever it is, it changes with our ability to perceive it. The fifteenth century saw the visitors as fairies. The tenth century saw them as sylphs. The Romans saw them as wood-nymphs and sprites. And so it goes, back into time. One of the thousands of people who wrote me concerning my book Communion had this fascinating insight: "Whatever cosmology or mythology I was immersed in seemed to be the factor for shaping the context and attendant imagery of my experiences, which I believe are essentially of an abstract nature." And yet I myself have faced physical beings. The context of my own experience, with extensive witness by others, makes it clear that the phenomenon can emerge as an entirely real, physical presence that is quite capable of manipulating its environment. The next moment, though, it can evaporate into thin air, leaving not a trace of what was a moment before an immense and overwhelmingly real presence. ...
Vallée Jacques - Anatomy of a phenomenonurn:md5:9b41551006a724cf41ddf91f01a1eb682017-01-17T15:52:00+00:002017-01-17T16:12:21+00:00balderVallée JacquesEnglandLondonUFO

Foreword by Kenn Thomas. I remember Jim Keith writing this book. At the time, he was also working on an article for the coming issue of Steamshovel Press. Jim contributed regularly to the magazine and stayed in phone contact for research help and to chat conspiracy. He mentioned that he was trying to summarize all of his current thinking in a single themed manuscript. The original Saucers of the Illuminati, in fact, may have been Jim Keith's last contribution to the zine world. The original book had an 8x10 format, spiral bound and resembled more a magazine than a book. Then, many people who knew Keith at all knew him primarily through his small-circulation "fan" magazines (although it is hard to conceive of a conspiracy/UFO cover up "fan"), Dharma Combat being the most well known but certainly not the only example. Zines were the happening means of the parapolitical underground in those pre-internet days and Keith served as the super-celebrity of that scene, broadcasting his charm and humor through self-published photocopied wonders, but also writing letters and doing commentary for similar zines produced by others. Going through my stack of Keith masterworks recently, I discovered Notes From The Hangar #1 from the early 1990s. In it, Keith published the rant of one Jason Bishop III, making declarations about humans working side-side with aliens in Dulce, New Mexico. Today it has become quite a familiar story, but at the time it was lore that had yet to reach the pinnacle of its currency in UFO circles. In fact, it was still part of what I see as a "barium meal" of UFO disinformation perpetrated by Air Force intelligence agents partly to drive a man named Paul Bennewitz insane.¡ In Notes In The Hangar, Jim presented the rant without edit and included several pages of critical response, declaring that he didn't necessarily believe any of it, but he believed in the importance of having it all discussed. In Saucers of the Illuminati, Keith summarized his understanding of that history in a chapter entitled "MJ-12". That chapter remains one of the most concise and complete reviews of that important episode in the history of the ufological subculture, but at the same time comprises only a portion of what this book has to say. From there Saucers expands upon Keith's notions about the arcane and occult forces behind human history. ...
Swann Ingo - To kiss Earth good-byeurn:md5:f15f703b9fbe37e9717d3148197554bb2015-10-23T01:49:00+01:002018-08-31T01:14:36+01:00balderSwann IngoConspiracyConspirationEuropeFranc-maçonnerieHébraïsmeUFOUnited States

Foreword. Ingo Swann is a remarkable man. He has extraordinarily strong psychic ability; he is thoughtful; he is fluent. Hearing him speak is a special experience, and this book offers a similar experience to readers. It tells about some of his accomplishments and some of his ideas. It is frank, so far as it goes-mercilessly frank at times. And if it does not answer all the reader's questions, it is in good company; there is probabl) no book that does. As with other complex persons, one grows to know Ingo only slowly. He gtves and withholds different parts of himself at different times. When I first met him. he withheld. We were in a group of his friends and acquaintances and he sat monolithic in a chair, letting conversation swirl around him-a large, blond man who watched pleasantly but seldom joined in the chatter or the activity. From that first meeting I bad only two impressions of him: that the others thought he had outstanding psychic gifts, and that I knew nothing of what he thought. Some weeks later I was surprised and pleased when be telephoned me at my office. He had an offer to make: that I do research with him. He wanted the research done under careful conditions, which I could specify, in order to learn about an ability that be bad begun to think he possessedan ability so striking (if it truly existed) as to boggle the mind. He thought be bad found, in informal tests, that be could change the temperature of distant objects. ...
Atlantis Rising - 110urn:md5:02b92690b66752d43b0c931d81b306a82015-10-15T00:54:00+01:002015-10-15T00:01:49+01:00balderAtlantis RisingArchéoastronomieAtlantisCivilizationsForbidden HistoryForbidden ScienceRevueRomanUFOUnited States
